St Mary Magdalen's Primary School

St Mary Magdalen’s is a consistently high achieving school in Penwortham with an experienced staff team committed to making your child’s time at school successful, worthwhile and enjoyable. We offer a stimulating education in an atmosphere of Christian care and love. We value all our children and celebrate the uniqueness of them all and all they have to offer.

Our last Ofsted inspection judged us to be outstanding in every area but we are a school that is not complacent and we constantly strive to improve and to make our school the very best it can be. Above you can download a slideshow that gives a flavour of the many different aspects of school life. I feel privileged to be the Headteacher of such a wonderful school with such well behaved and thoughtful children.

I hope that you find all the information on the website that you are looking for and that you will make this one of your favourites. If you have any unanswered questions or would simply like to see the school in action please do not hesitate to contact me.

St Teresa's Primary School

St. Teresa’s is a Catholic School and we believe that every child is a unique being of God’s creation. Our religious and moral education is based on the teachings of the Catholic Church and there are several occasions during the year when all our children attend Holy Mass, either in school or at St Teresa’s Church. Here at St. Teresa’s we value all people who we encounter in daily life and appreciate the range of different God given gifts we all possess. During their time at St. Teresa’s, we encourage our children to become confident in their abilities so that they can use their gifts to the full.

Aims of the School

We aim to foster a love of learning in our children and our curriculum is designed to allow every child to work to the best of their ability. We hope that children will enjoy their experiences with us, with learning skills and attitudes that will fit them for life and which will help them to be ‘whole’ people, confident, competent and contented. Your child is precious to you – and also to us. Selecting the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will have to make. This website is designed to assist you in making that choice. Please take the time to look through the next few pages to discover some of the highlights of our school. I hope that you find the pages helpful and informative and that it will tell you more about our school.

All Hallows Catholic High School

As a Catholic High School in the Archdiocese of Liverpool our Mission Statement ‘Growing Together in the Spirit of Christ’s Love’ very much sums up what we feel we are about as a school.

We are very much a team at All Hallows, where staff, pupils, parents and governors work very closely to ensure that our pupils enjoy their time with us and perform to the best of their abilities in whatever field they feel comfortable.

Aims of the School

Our most recent OFSTED Inspection in 2013 rated us Outstanding’ in all areas of the school and the Section 48 Inspection undertaken by the Archdiocese of Liverpool in the same week also gave us ‘Outstanding’ in every aspect of the life of a Catholic School.
We are very proud of these achievements and work extremely hard to maintain the high standards for which All Hallows has always been known. Care for the individual is at the very heart of what we do as a school.
I hope that this website will provide you with a sense of the community that we have here at All Hallows and I welcome you to it.
